TinyBoy
Autumn 2017
TinyBoy is a pixel-game that I made as a solo project. The purpose of the project was to get some first-time experience with game development and see what I could come up with. The resulting game is a simplistic platformer where the player controls a boy who can run, jump and dash. The objective is to make it through three levels.
The project took me about 30 hours to complete and was made using Game Maker Studio 2. For art, I used Krita and Asesprite. All art assets were done by myself but some of the sounds together with the music were downloaded. The sounds that I did make myself was made in Bfxr.
I made sure to make everything as simple as possible, with the purpose of being able to finish the project fairly easily.

The project allowed me to get some experience with game development and made me learn about things like programming, pixel art, and game design. A full walkthrough of the game is displayed in the video below. You can download and play the game following this link: Download Link
