Happy to see you here. This is the home of me, Douglas.

 

I am a versatile, human-centered developer/designer passionate about creating meaningful experiences through games, products, and services. I strive to create meaning and value for people in my work and ground my actions in reflection and philosophy. I love attaining new perspectives on life and society and keep an open mind to change. For the last few years, I have lived a nomadic lifestyle, moving between countries to learn about cultures and understand different aspects of the world. I now live in Tokyo.

I don’t stick to a single skill but try to keep a generalist mindset. My big toolbox allows me to bring whatever product or service I envision to life. More specifically, I am proficient in:

• Web Development (primarily front-end)

• User research and testing

• Product/UX design

• Game design

I have worked on various projects, including public welfare services and mobile fitness games. On the side, I develop games and apps that I personally find exciting. One such project was a big collaborative writing game. I’m now working on a narrative-focused 3D exploration game.
